Both cottages back directly onto the picturesque village green. This area offers:
- Parish Tennis Courts: Available for use upon payment of the appropriate fee and short-term membership.
- Well Stocked Playground: Featuring an aerial runway, swings, slides, climbing frames, and more, perfect for families.
- Large open playing field with space for football, frisbee or throwing a ball for the dog.

You are just a very short walk from the heart of village life and water-based fun:
- The Hero Pub: A traditional village pub offering good food and local ales.
- The Local Staithe (Waterfront): A hub of activity where many adventures begin. Ideal for:
- Sailing and Kayaking

- Crabbing and Mud-Sliding (for the adventurous!)
